YMCA and Walmart team up to fight child hunger

Last month I reported about the unique program the Cincinnati Public Library has by offering summer feeding for children at its locations. The YMCA is also coming through in the fight against child hunger. Food will be provided at more than 1,000 YMCA sites across the country this summer.

Senator Brown highlights summer feeding gap

Feeding America helps Arkansas tornado victims

The Arkansas Foodbank is reporting that two trucks with emergency water and food supplies have been dispatched to help tornado victims. The towns of Mayflower and Vilona, located near Little Rock, were hit by tornadoes yesterday.
