UNICEF brings supplies, mayor to town besieged by ISIS

UNICEF just delivered 45 metric tons of life-saving aid to the Iraqi town of Amirli. A seven truck convoy of supplies arrived to the town following a two-month siege by the ISIS terrorist army.

U.S. donation helps strategy shift in Yemen

The United States is scaling up its efforts to fight hunger in Yemen. The UN World Food Programme (WFP) yesterday announced a US $40 million donation from America. WFP will use the funds in assisting 2.8 million hungry Yemenis.

Syrian hunger relief mission sets record

The UN World Food Programme (WFP) said today it fed 4.1 million war victims inside Syria during August. This is the highest total WFP has reached in one month since the civil war began.
